BENDS and WELDS is tested and admitted on the basis of the following norms and standards:
EN ISO 9001:2008
EN ISO 9001:2008 specifies quality management systems requirements (QM-systems) for companies which produce and sell products. ISO 9001:2008 describes the total quality management system in an exemplary manner and constitutes the basis for a comprehensive quality management system.
PED 97/23/EC
The Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC is an EU Directive issued in 1997 for specifying requirements for the introduction of pressure equipment in the European Economic Area (e.g. pipelines)
AD 2000-W0
The AD 2000 Code specifies all basic security requirements which have to be observed in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). It complies with the conformity requirements of the DGRL and additionally sustains the high quality standard of the AD Code.
OHSAS 18001:2007
OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) is the widest-known standard in the world for occupational health and safety and environmental protection management systems. OHSAS 18001 is aligned with ISO 9001 and 14001. It was declared as the British standard in 2007 and is now applied in more than 80 countries of the world.
Field of application for material producers
The certificate „Field of application for material producers according to PED 97/23/EC and AD W0“ specifies all material grades and dimensions, which BENDS and WELDS is allowed to bend in compliance with the PED 97/23/EC and. AD W0. Detailled auditings of procedures are required for all material grades and material grade groups.
