Our vision:
Our aim is to avoid all and any personal injuries, property and environmental damages whilst exercising our production activities.
Our philosophy:
- Injuries are avoidable: Accidents do not occur by chance but can be avoided if the engineering, organization and employees’ personal conduct comply with the relevant safety standards.
- Management is a role model for all employees. Superiors must be conscious of their responsibilities and act as a model with regard to health, safety and the environment and should also act as a role model for all employees.
- There is reasonable and adequate protection for all dangers and risks Avoiding dangers is of paramount importance therefore. Where this is not possible, it has to be ensured that employees are adequately protected against the effects of possible risks and dangers.
- Safety is a prerequisite for all activities. Safety is just as much an integral part of our daily activities as quality and economic profitability. It is therefore necessary to train and motivate all employees with regard to their safety. We expect all employees to assume personal responsibility for safety themselves.
- Current statutory and legal regulations with regard to HSSE are upheld as a minimum standard. The HSSE manager ensures that all relevant HSSE laws and regulations and recognized and upheld and that the Company is obliged to comply with the aforesaid laws and regulations as a minimum standard.
- Work safety, health and environmental protection necessitate a continual improvement. Our HSSE guidelines/directives are not mere static snapshots but we undertake to consistently improve them. Our team managers and employees are required to consistently improve safety as part of their daily work. The HSSE guidelines/directives have to improve at regular intervals within the scope of audits, inspections and regular HSSE meetings and have to be adjusted to the new circumstances.
