BENDS and WELDS is an integrated group specialising in the production of induction bends for energy, infrastructure and industrial projects.
As a family-run business, we combine decades of experience with modern expertise, high-performance manufacturing and a consistent focus on quality. Sales, project management and technical support are handled in Germany, whilst production, quality assurance and logistics are carried out at our plant in the Czech Republic.
Through close collaboration between our sites, we manage the key process steps ourselves – from technical consulting through to production and delivery – and ensure reliable project execution.
Our aim is the continuous development of our company and the long-term support of our customers in challenging infrastructure, energy and industrial projects. To this end, we invest continuously in technology, staff, quality and sustainability.
With material and bending databases built up over decades, as well as ongoing investment in manufacturing, quality assurance and staff development, we are laying the foundations for a leading technological position in the field of induction bending.
BENDS and WELDS International Products GmbH, Germany
BENDS and WELDS International Products GmbH, based in Jüchen, is the group’s sales and project management centre. The company was founded in 2000 by former experts and executives from HD Reisholz GmbH.

H.J.H. PIPETECH spol s.r.o., Czech Republic
H.J.H. PIPETECH spol. s r.o., based in Dolní Bečva, is the group’s manufacturing company and was also founded in 2000.
All key manufacturing stages are carried out at the production site – from incoming pipe inspection through induction bending, heat treatment and coating to final inspection and delivery.
The high level of vertical integration, optimised production programmes and modern production facilities enable a high degree of flexibility, short lead times and the reliable fulfilment of demanding customer requirements.
Today, the production facility is equipped with, including:
- Three induction bending machines
- An accredited testing laboratory
- In-house blasting and coating facilities
- In-house heat treatment facilities
IHV GmbH Germany
IHV GmbH is the parent company of the group and is responsible for central management and administrative tasks.
These include, in particular, the areas of corporate development, finance, IT, marketing, human resources and controlling.
The history of BENDS and WELDS, with nearly 100 years’ experience
1928
The roots of today’s group date back to 1928. In that year, Paul Kahle founded a pipework construction company in Düsseldorf.
1970
The commissioning of Europe’s first induction bending machine marked a significant milestone in the company’s development. In the years that followed, the company built up extensive expertise in the production of high-quality induction bends for energy, industrial and infrastructure projects.
1995
The production facility of Lentjes Anlagen- und Rohrleitungsbau GmbH gave rise to HD Reisholz GmbH, which continued to specialise in the production and sale of induction-bent pipes at the Düsseldorf Reisholz site.
2000
Former executives and key experts from HD Reisholz GmbH founded what is now BENDS and WELDS International Products GmbH, as well as the production company H.J.H. PIPETECH spol. s r.o.

The group is growing steadily and continues to invest in manufacturing technologies, quality assurance and staff development. Today, BENDS and WELDS has three in-house induction bending machines, an accredited testing laboratory, its own blasting and coating facilities, as well as extensive material and bending databases spanning several decades of induction bending technology.
