All variants available in infinitely variable sizes
Sizes / External diameters
Seamless, longitudinally welded and spiral-welded steel pipes with an external diameter of 60.3 mm to 1,420 mm (2″ to 56″) can be bent.
Bending radii
Continuously adjustable to any desired bending radius from 240 mm to 10,600 mm.
Bending angles
Up to 180° is possible, depending on the dimensions, material and bending radius.
Wall thicknesses
Depending on the diameter, bending radius and material, wall thicknesses of up to 85 mm are possible.
Shapes
Shapes I: Available with or without straight ends.
Shapes II: Single bend or multiple bends, e.g. stepped or curved bends.
End finishing
The ends are machined to customer specifications: with smooth ends, with weld edges in any desired shape, with turned or drilled and adjusted diameters.
Coatings
Descaling and cleaning by grit blasting, temporary corrosion protection, paints, primers, external plastic coating e.g. PUR (polyurethane), internal coating e.g. EP (epoxy resin).
Materials
All standard materials without restrictions
BENDS and WELDS specialises in the induction bending of unalloyed, alloyed and high-alloy steel pipes. This also includes steel pipes made from thermo-mechanically rolled steels, which place particular demands on material modification, bending technology and heat treatment.
Drawing on material and bending databases built up over decades, we determine the appropriate bending parameters for different materials and ensure compliance with the required material properties. In addition to the range of materials, we are also able to process steel pipes manufactured using all standard production methods. These include seamless pipes as well as longitudinally welded (HFW, SAWL) and spiral-welded (SAWH) pipes.

In doing so, we work closely with local and international freight forwarders. The optimal selection of transport modes ensures that our products reach their destination worldwide undamaged and on time.
