Bends and Welds

MATERIAL GRADES

All unalloyed, alloyed and highly alloyed steel pipes can be bent.

This also includes pipes made of thermo-mechanically rolled steels which have particular requirements with regard to material modifications, bending techniques and heat treatment.

With regard to the production technique, we are able to bend all steel pipes – whether seamless, longitudinally welded (HFW and SAWL) or spirally welded (SAWH).

IMPORTANT:

Since 1990 we successfully bend sprially welded pipes. All major German Gas companies use our induction bends produced from sprially welded pipes.

There is no difference with regards to material qualities and bend geometry between induction bends produced from longitudinal welded or sprially welded pipes.
